This is just to prove that I do not exclusively draw marine mammals...
I draw marine birds as well! A slightly older piece, it shows my first attempt at penguins. I was initially going for Aptenodytes forsteri, the Emperor Penguin, but the darker "earmuff" patterns make them look a little more like Aptenodytes patagonica, the King Penguin... ... I'll just call it them Monarch Penguins and leave it at that. *g* |
